BAA China - 2 on / 1 off rotation terms

Could anybody shed some light on the BAA rotational contract on offer.

I'm looking for details on what type of accommodation (hotel standard, 4 star Marriott/Sheraton type or?) and per diem the company provide while at the aircraft home base (say Guangzhou or Shenzhen), and not out flying with the client, and also what kind of positioning arrangements are in place (to/from pilot home base). Thanks for any input.

Hi

The rotation rquires you to rent appartment at base, BAA does not cover Hotac when AC at base. You can expect 4-6 months without rotation until you have been cleared by line check.
Transport to and from rotation is Economy class ticket. They have been looking into month on/off rotations, but not offered yet. Flying is not busy, 300 hrs per airframe per year is common, 90 % domestic.

Good Luck

What is ball park starting salary?

Just curious. How do they meet the Tax exempt status in Hong Kong?

Income earned outside Hong Kong SAR is not taxable in Hong Kong, as a general - Hong Kong law.

You can still live in Hong Kong, and NOT pay tax on any income earned outside of the territory.

Thank you for sharing these details, much appreciated, Oluf.

Further to this, how does it work with the per diem (allowances). I'm guessing only when away on actual flight duty? Thanks mate.

Perhaps start your own thread in this regards. It's not really relevant to this thread, mate.

@Wisers. Apply to HK express. They are taking turbo prop pilots on to the 320. You will get a HK ATPL, there’s over a100 biz jets based in Hong Kong, and once established in HK easier to apply to jobs in China. You will build jet time fast at HK express.

Most of them are Vp-C, VP-B, M or N registered, there's absolutely no need for an HKCAD ATPL...

Airline experience is not what bizjet operators are looking for in HK. You want a bizjet job in HK ? Get this type of job back home, on a marketable type (Global, G4,5,6...), get time on type, then apply in HK.
