Discontinued Approach
If coming down the glide , if we hit the NAV button , will will have LOC green and FPA 3 degrees - so no reason to go vertical speed and we will level off at 2000ft, just one less button to hit.
So still only one press to get the AFCS to fly you down to and level on the Alt Sel. Also avoids getting the 'bong' when you 'lose' a vertical mode, or am I confusing that with Roll?
Pit and Rol are both underused and do have their uses, but VS obviously allows you to easily fine-tune the RoD.

Quick question - on your aircraft types, how do you get the MS to sequence beyond the RWY waypoint if you don't hit TO/GA? I am not suggesting that you apply TO/GA thrust or follow the ensuing FD commands - but on the PL21Adv, going out of APCH mode other than TO/GA will only get you to the RWY waypoint...
Select AUTO advance, SEQ INHBT will show on an Approach. It’s inhibited because it’s expecting to land at RWY unless there’s a GA, if you go to AUTO, it will go to the next waypoint st the MAP.

Cheers guys!
So Galaxy Flyer, so is there anything wrong/ gotchas when soon as I'm in green needles to put the sequence back to auto?
It just means it's one less step to do in if you eventually have to do a go around.
