Wynn Resorts Selling Gulfstreams?
I was sitting in the FBO the other day flipping thru the aircraft magazines to see what was for sale and prices etc.
Found both Wynn Resorts G650 and G450 listed for sale.
I highly doubt it is due to any cash issues and the fact they are in the business of flying high rollers around they need some type of aircraft.
Switching fleet? Moving to Global?
Perhaps they are taking on a new G6 or G5 but why sell the 650 and 450 before you have the aircraft.
Thoughts?

They are listed on Controller via a broker.
The 650 has been for sale for ages...

Thanks for the links. Prices definitely on the way down with the Global 70000 and G5/6 on the way!
Certainly even more of a buyers market.

Yep... Pre-owned is taking a beating, and will continue to do so with what is coming onto the market in the next 2 years... But, as you say, a buyers market... Unless you have a secured buy-back price from the manufacturer for your frame.

I can not imagine replacing a 5 year old G650 for what another G650?
If the G6 was out then I could understand that change perhaps with the logic the G650 has some challenges at certain airports due too weight and wing but not age.
Plus, they already show they are ok with keeping a 10yr old jet...
Some clients may have issues with a aircraft that old and they are updating because of that. But Las Vegas Sands flys GIVSP's still and even older 747Sp and L1011. So age may not be that big of a concern to passengers.

Age of aircraft in Asia is an issue, everyone wants to fly in new... and well many can afford it!

I can think of many customers who replace aircraft every 3 years. Could be any number of reasons for it - age, finance structure making it fiscally sensible, new wife, take your pick. If you are in the industry, you can probably think of someone.

maybe the aircraft are leased and the lease has ended? Many reasons to sell a 5 year old aircraft
Maybe they want to keep aircraft within their warranty from now on.
There may have been a guaranteed buy back
Who really knows... really! but keep on guessing

Maybe he's tired of sitting in a dark airplane at night time departures - waiting for the "Gulfstream G650 re-boot and wait for 15 min solution". Maybe he's had enough of faulty REU's. There can be lots of reasons.
