Excellent Air GmbH
Heard from a very good source, Excellent Air have furloughed most of their ops, sales and maint staff, closed down thier EHAM base and reduced the fleet from 12 to 6 units (x2 Hawker 800s, x2 C560, x1 C525 and a C650 to go) aslo furloughed several pilots.
Does any one have any other news, ?

No kidding?!
They advertised big time a couple of months ago in several hot-shot magazines.
My ex-company used to fly a lot for them (and v.v.). Pilots were good fun to work with, the Gen. Mgr. on the other hand...
It would be sad if the rumour is true, they used to fly for the dutch government as well...

Not so long ago I read some articles in Flight, European Business Aviation, B&CA and a few more magazines about this company.
They had a big hangar built to set up a JAR 145 maintenance facility for third parties, inaugurated their own simulator and the CEO claimed to have the biggest, best and safest company in the market.
If above rumours are true, what went wrong overnight????

Hi Pilot dude,
The aircrafts on the ramp at ams are for sale!
Believe me as I say, that they have kicked out several pilots and basically their entire sales and dispatch staff.
Cheers

Dear Ms Cub B (or is it Mr and does it refer to a Piper, your cub that is)
I'm afreight i didn do my training at KVNC, but believe me when I say I''m not the only dutch pilot, with an oversized ego , that trained in the states.
So the fraise is used by more flying dutchmen (m/f)
PD

pilot dude:
I know, I have been there too. Only thing is, your signature is the yell us CPL-buddies used too scream when partying at the local pub ( I still have the T-shirt with the printing). Therefore I was wondering if you were one of my old-time buddies...
Whether I am a lady pilot or just a regular fly-boy you will never know
Keep up the Dutch spirit!
