Albus is correct; it is all about conduct of flight not licencing!

Never had a problem in SP Ops in Cit II (C550) and C560 Encore with an FAA waiver (Form 4050)
Been ramped checked a few times in UK, France, and no issues and the checkers were only interested in; current pilot medical, IFR proficiency, CofA, a load statement showing t/o and land weight. Of course a check to make sure the flight is strictly private Ops, Both in N rego and VH rego aircraft.

Long time ago I was flying these planes over Europe with the waiver, I even flew the Falcon 10 Single pilot when France was accepting it !! Wit h some adjustments in the plane.
But this time is long gone, and in today's regulated ( over-regulated at times) world; lawyers and insurance underwriters will have the last word.

One thing is for sure, as long as you have no issues and are not caught, you can do whatever you want; BUT this very same day **** will hit the fan, and you will find yourself naked.

You can hate the system and laws, but if you operate in an airspace, you have to follow the rules of this airspace.

There is new rules for SAFA checks in place, and inspectors will look more closely in some areas ( like the MEL status, SPA, etc..) This has started already, and I know some people whom where flying R-NAV approaches without the appropriate SPA that got fined in EHAM.
