TAG

Does anyone know how an interview with TAG looks like? Sim ride? Any Tests?
Any info is highly welcome.
If you want, please PM.

Thank you

Which employers, do you feel, offer a good long term career path?

All pretty standard stuff. Basic general tech questions, life etc and an easy sim.
And this is based on your grading? How long ago. Please clarify with some concrete info. What is standard for you might not be standard for others? What did you do on the sim, where did you fly, which type, tech questions about which subjects.

Thanks for any concrete info you can share

Is it going to help you to know which SID and STAR was flown in a sim?

Do you not cover CRM etc in your recurrents?

How much details do you expect - would you like someone to email you with the exact technical questions (and presumably you would complain if they didn't give you the answers too?)

I would say

pretty much covers it and you are over thinking unnecessarily.

It is not an onerous experience like BA.

Relax and be yourself.

But the other piece of advice from de fumo in flammam is pertinent. At Tag you are recruited to a particular aircraft. If that aircraft is sold (or the owner decides he no longer wants you on the crew) then you are without a job. Tag will try and re-allocate you, but you are not employed in a 'pool' of crew like you would be somewhere like NetJets.

One thing I will add though - the process will soon involve some personality / psychometric profiling which apparently is soon to become a regulatory requirement. These tests are specifically designed to detect those that are trying to give the answer you think they want (they answer the same questions numerous different ways looking for inconsistencies etc). You can't really practice for these (or so the designers would have you believe).

Thank you again in advance

I've been told that you won't fly on the type you apply on but on another type.
