Tax levels in Malta

Does anybody know what kind of income tax one can expect when working for a maltese aircaft operator.

15% at source..plus social security deduction(circa 5000 for 100K) or if not leaving in Malta, social security at your home residence

More important: make sure you get accommodation and tickets to/from included in your contract... That is where I lost more money than what I saved on taxes....

15% if you are postholder. Otherwise 35%. On android there is malta tax calculator app..

I pay social security and taxes where I live, that is also where I am based.
Nothing deducted from Malta.

EMB170. What do you mean with "postholder". You mean like training manager, MFO, accountable manager etc? And why do they pay less tax?

Overseas employment is 15%

but as in taxes you cannot win them all, your employer has to be very cautious on overlapping regs...and yourself of course

The "field of excellence" is just this...not pilots :-) Shareholders is even better..

They have a higher qualified person sceem. You are correct. Ie: pfo, pct, am....but you are not allowed to use their social secutity services...
