Minimum Equipment

Hi folks!

I was wondering about the minimum equipment on a business jet in europe mainly navigational wise.

as i remember they all need RNP-5 capability as well as a GPS/FMS equipment. is that correct? what about RVSM approval?
mandatory above FL240? or is there the possibility of an exception for general aviation operators so that they are still able to fly say C560 with only VOR/DME/ILS/NDB equipment w/o FMS/GPS?

thanks for your info,
greg

HI CITATION 500,
RVSM-approval needed for airframe and aircrew (and operator if commercial) above FL280, BRNAV mandatory (RNP-5) above FL100 - can be obtained with FMS (whatever sensor is good for RNP 5) or GPS or RNAV - whatever machine you use, it must have a database (updated):
FL240 and above youŽll need 8,33KHz - no exemptions for GA...only state & mil
