NetJets in Europe Pilots made redundant
NetJets will cut more pilot jobs in Europe.
Is the product still good?
Why one does not have more clients that buys NetJets product?
The majority of big companies also go through change of management when the product is not good anymore.

I think the opposite is the case.
NetJets offers a great product and plays according to the rules on a very high level.
Obviously that comes with a price not every company is willing to pay in a economic climate like we still have in Europe.
And I agree, that this is bad News for everybody, since there is now even more highly professional crews on the street

56 people with 34 PIC and the rest SIC.
Initially voluntary redundancy but the price proposed has dramatically decreased over the year. It used to be about 15 to 18 months salary (even 24 months for the first voluntary leave in 2008). Now they propose only 1 month per year of seniority + the 3 months UK redundancy. So around 8 to 10 months.
And last year, Netjets had to make a loan to pay the 128 guys leaving, what about this year.....
If no voluntary, then it would be last in first out.....
Company reducing to below 100 aircraft. Better avoid them, it is slowly sinking they hit the Iceberg when the new boss arrived in 2009 or 2010...

Working in NJE before 2009 was really great!
When I see how the things are turning, it really makes me sad.
Leaving in 2009 was not an easy decision but as time goes it was not the worst one....
Less than 100 airframes, they are really downsizing!
Can they maintain their business model with this fleete reduction?

New NJ Redundancy
Good luck to all guys made redundant.
Was also made redundant by them, and it is VERY hard to move back up the ladder: from no useful TR to an airline TR: it takes a lot of money, time and courage. Then find a job with no recent experience on type, is the worst part...

I hear FlairJet are recruiting for Bravo and XLS Captains and are
particularly interested in ex NJE pilots. Not sure if it's for a
Cambridge/Luton/Oxford base but could be well timed?
