Satphones

We are looking for one/two mobile sat phones to Phenom and Mustang in our company not equiped normally with those.

We need and ease of operations, long batt time, possibility of long standby mode or even having it off with quick startup time and most important good rates.

I hope some of you are familar with that and would be able to help me
What are the best sellers now and best serivice providers is it like with regular cell phones that you buy one for 1E and talk... unlimited

cheers

There is no such thing, if you have to ask how much per minute, you can't afford it...

I guess you want a portable one as you have no 110v outlet? Inmarsat are as far as I know the only provider left and I am not sure if they still have the portable one, have a look at Giggle.

Voice calls are roughly 1-2USD a minute with data calls 10-12USD a minute, you can get a better deal if you buy more airtime or more handsets.

There are a few countries where Satphones are not allowed, India comes to mind.

Inmarsat

This handset works great and can be recharged using a power monkey.
Receive and send texts and also emails,
Pre pay is my choice and I don't find it horrendous to be fair.
Good battery life and Bluetooth connects to Bose a2

Have to agree. Inmarsat is the way to go.

They have an office in Berlin +49 30 347 08 456 which might be nearest to you.
