Some years ago I audited a flight academy in Germany on behalf of a large UK operator to JAR STD1A. What was interesting was the differences in the oversight standards applied by the LBA compared to the UK CAA. It transpired that the organisation had not been the subject of an audit for three years by the LBA and the last flyout performed by the LBA on the simulator had taken place twenty four months prior to my visit.
My point is that I have found the oversight of organisations by the LBA lacking in the past, and attribute this to resources.

I'm not trying to be a partypooper here, but this happens all over Europe. The rest is already a little bit more experienced in getting away with it. Germans still catching up with learning how to do things not the proper way. hihi.

does anybody know anything new about this, has the LBA revoked any of the type ratings obtained like this yet, or will they not. To me it would seem like a criminal matter as well if the training records have been faked, also on the part of the applicants. Any news please share

Lappen,
you will only get hearsay 'news' about this.
The LBA won't comment until the cases become public knowledge (= subject to court hearings) and the individuals concerned will probably never talk about this.
