Toilet smell through airconditioning-Falcon 2000Classic.

Yeah, pretty horrible.

I have never experienced this on the newer Falcons but now on the Classic it happens a lot despite regular toilet servicing. I do recall something about a badly designed 'Recirculation Valve' positioned behind the toilet.

Has anyone had this and how do you cure it? Do I just need to thoroughly clean the tank with bleach?

Cheers

Have a look under the lavatory floorboard too for evidence of toilet spillage or leakage. Best of success in tracking down this unpleasantness. Please report any findings here!

Sometimes you just have to replace the holding tank.... We had to do it on our G4 this year.. After years of service the fiberglass tank gets impregnated with the smell and there is nothing you can do about it! We tried everything even leaving bleach in it to soak for days...

If you have the down time you can send the tank out to be refinished or just buy a new one for an extra $2K if you don't have the time..

Hope this helps some!!
