Fuel Supplier Agent
Always read Flight International magazine from back, they feature a different individual each week on the last editorial page.
About 4/5 years ago (I think) there was an article featuring a female who had set up as an independent fuel agent in the UK. Refreshing approach and and promising to be competitive providing fuel supplies worldwide for charter/corporate operators. Been through all my back numbers and cannot find article.
Anyone remember the article or know of the firm? (if she is still in business)
Seeking truly independent - honest - and 24/7 service for corporate JP1 guzzling aircraft - i.e. not the usual robbers
Any guidance would be appreciated!

I used to use AML global as an operator and it was fantastic, a lot of contract fuel outfits would subcontract to AML and just charge a corkage... Smoke and mirrors.
To set this up and also save a sheadfull of money on international planning etc I'd give Jonathan Gill at Signum Aviation a call.

My Age!
Hi opsbeach
Well spotted .... I am ancient held, professional licence since 1965 and flew mainly Boeings since - now in the corporate world (and still loving it!)
But I guess you remember JP! too!

Hi bankangle!
Yep, all the JP's are well known with me. If you still want some JP1 I'm pretty sure I can get hold of some for you, works well on BBQ's...
As for Fuel Supplier Agents (AKA resellers) I can put you in touch with pretty much everyone that you would need. Drop me a PM with where you're most interested in and I'll point you in the direction.
I assume the big fuel companies are not looking after you? What aircraft are you flying?
OB
