New EASA FTL for Air Taxi operators

Hi all

I´m trying to get as much info as possible on the "future implementation" of a new category of FTL´s for Air Taxis operators under EASA rules.

So far I have not found any valuable information and even CAA doesn´t have a clue of what´s going to happen.

Any info is appreciated

Just found this, looks like no one knows what it´s going to happen, the brussels brains doing exactly what should not be done.

bral

With the amount of references to the "European Parliament and of the Council" quite a lot by the looks of it.

EASA does not make the law, it simply submits an Opinion to the European Commission. After due consideration by the EC's EASA Committee (termed comitology) a (sometimes heavily) revised Regulation is submitted to the TRAN Committee of the European Parliament. It is necessary only to compare the original EASA Opinion on the Aircrew Regulation with what was finally railroaded through the EP to see exactly how much influence 'Brussels' has on the process.
