Differences courses in Montreal are booked out far, too. BATC will have an additional G6000 Vision sim in DFW by June, which should help things.

What BD700 aircraft / series / are "Global Vision"?
How many days is the differences course?
Can you fly Global vision without having taken the differences course (FAA)?

The G6000 is an XRS with the Collins Vision cockpit; the G5000 is just the old 5000 with the Vision cockpit. Both have some cabin improvements which reduced CMS problems and crashes.
You need the 4-day differences course (FAA); it's very gentlemanly.

Reduced crashes? Only one GLEX w/o due to crash. That was my attempt at a joke. I know what you mean. By the way, the sim at CAE DFW is built from this wreck.
Our G5000 has the Collins CES and it's pretty reliable but does lock up and/or behave strangely at times. Better than the old builds though.
Not to confuse matters...yes, current G5000s are delivered with Vision avionics but prior to 2011 they were delivered with the same ol' Honeywell Primus 2000XP as the Global "classic" has. There are many G5000's with the older avionics.
You may not need differences training to fly a G5000..depends on s/n.

The Collins CMS seems to play better with the Collind front end than it did with the Honeywell one. That and Apple iTouch units to control the cabin make it stabler.

The first Global Vision I could figure-out is a converted XRS, 9381, which is a demo aircraft.
Then I have 5000 9401 (Niki Lauda's) and 9432 and subsequent airframes (as I am not sure whether 5000 9431 -the one for the Indian Air Force- is a Vision).
