Hkg best management company to fly for?
Hkg best management company to fly for?
Which management company is the best one to fly/work for, overall, in Hong Kong SAR?
Relating to; lifestyle, roster, pay, housing allowances, per diems, flying, OPS etc. etc.
I would appreciate some input from pilots who have tried working for the different ones, like say; TAG Asia, Metrojet, Jet Aviation, Sino jet, BAA, Asia jet, HK jets etc.
Many thanks

TAG
Capt
Basic USD150K
Housing USD60K
Schooling USD10K/kid up to 2 (not all contracts pay it)
Leave 4 weeks (half taken when A/C is in for maint usually)
Medical/Dental
Per Diem USD120/day
Lifestyle/Roster - Depends on client and crew numbers. Some guys happy, some not.

I think the salaries are all pretty similar.
Your lifestyle/roster is totally owner dependent. If your on a 3 crew plane, life is slightly predictable, on 2 crew plane it can be a different story.
If you are Gulfstream/ Bombardier rated you can choose which company best suits you, over 70 jets now based in HK.
I think the biggest gripes of new pilots are the cost of housing and schooling, and getting slots for kids in school.
Cheers FM
