USA flying with Ipad - suggestions for Apps

Hello,

I like to do some timebuilding in the States and in my rented Cessna there is no GPS. Can anyone suggest an Ipad App for navigation? I heardsomething about foreflight, but it's quite expensive for a couple of days flying...

I look forward ... thanks guys ;-))

Stephan

Try fltplan.com, not as complete as foreflight but gets the job done. Works good and You can download terminal, IFR and VFR charts to use them offline, without incurring in 3G roaming charges and you can algo use an external GPS antenna as a dual xgps150 for position information.

You can also get foreflight free for a trial period of 30 days to try with all the options available if you haven't done it yet.

Let us know how it went.
