No differences

There are no differences regarding the two aircrafts, except the Avionics. The G6000 is a XRS with upgraded avionics (Proline Fusion iso Honeywell Primus 2000). The "big" differences will come with the G7000 and G8000.

Cheers!

Hi,

I don't even think that the name is related to the change of avionics. It has more to do with the launch of the G7000 and G8000. They had the G5000 also. So the XRS was re-branded to match within the family.
The new avionics planes were known as Global Vision A/Cs.

G6000 sounds like a nice Electric- vibrator name ! Sure some f/a carry that around in their suitcases

The ICAO 4-letter code...will be GLEX or they will change it in GL6T?

Global 6000 is only a marketing designation, therefore I assume it won't change
