jr, I see your point but its not really true I think. If you want a G650 you don't get a Falcon "instead", you get a G550/GLEX/Global 6/7/8000....

I've said it before, and I'll say it again, Dassault went for a too small cabin when they developed the 7X and as a result they "lost" the race against Bombardier and Gulfstream when it comes to large cabin, long range corporate jets. The 7X is great, but its got a too small cabin.

I also think that if you really want a G650 you can have one in the next 12-24 months, its all about how much you are willing to pay.

It has always been a tight race ... for second and third places.

Last year, I flew for a man who had a 650 on order. Gulfstream had leased him a 550 until his 650 is ready. So once again, Gulfstream is showing their commitment to the customer

There's one thing you better get right when dealing with the manufacturers. Your honoured as a Customer when you buy Gulfstream but your highly honoured to even just buy Dassault!
