Chartering out of Russia
Hi guys, hopefully a simple question but here goes:
I understand chartering out of Europe and back in to Europe, however, if you pick up a trip with new passengers from say Moscow to Japan can you do that on the EASA reg as a stand alone charter.
The reason I pick Russia is that I dont believe there really are any stand alone bizjet Russian AOCs, and if they were people wouldn't use them! Yet there are a lot of aircraft based there on a variety of different registrations. Granted many are private but some must be on an AOC.
How does it work with people like Comlux chartering their 767 on the P4 reg? How can you use an Aruban AOC to charter around the world, but not out of Aruba?
This is not a crack at any companies, just want to learn how the whole system works!

The reg is not important if there is a mutual agreement between the authority of the country of registration and the authority where the AOC is issued. Cabotage is still relevant to the AOC operator.

The aircraft in question would be listed on the AOC. Generaly speaking the country of AOC would have to feature in the chartered paid for trip, either the departure or destination.

Ah ok, I think we misunderstood. Would I be right in saying then that it would have to be listed on a Russian AOC?
Can 'G' reg aircraft pick up a charter out of russia to say dubai legally? And more importantly if so how?
Cheers,
FBP
