They've not been making proper checks for years. They do not have the manpower.
"A UKBA spokeswoman said: "It is not true that we don't carry out passport and warnings index checks on private flight passengers and will deploy officers to airfields where we have concerns."
Errm, 'tis true!
The GAR's that should be sent before the planes arrive, do not get sent until after the plane has arrived, and often departed again.
There is no way for UKBA to check these flights unless there is an officer there to see them.
Period.
Back door to the UK is wide open.
