GV or G550
In general the GV sim is only available one week a month, or less....usual config is as G550.
As mentioned the building is next door/x street from a major drinking den. beware.....
You will be collected from hotel, and driven to centre, and returned home after sessions...you can ask for a delayed return for social reasons.
The ground school: is OK, dont expect to get too excited.
There is a canteen in the building, good lunches, and lots of EK CC to keep you entertained, nice view of the creek too. Free voucher for the cateen every day... ask the staff whats available, as you can get al a carte, if you ask.
Snack bar, with coffee, soft drinks, and the same selection of choc and butties as always....Thai Chicken being the best....
Internet terminals, and wifi, (ask for password).
The sim sessons: ok, and assuming you have a second trainee you will use all of the slot time, if you and buddy plan on an early return to hotel.
FAA or JAA: little to tell, they same requirements as in USA.
Which hotel: There are plenty that you could be using, the Hyatt is this months preference, but if available the JW Marriott is often the choice of crew.
Entertainment after hours: Dubai is loaded with entertainment... JWM being closer than Hyatt.
Feel free to PM, if more details are needed.
