Given the current political 'things' Iīd try to avoid Chad, Sudan (and Lybia, but thats nofly anyhow))

This would lead me to a route:

FZAA/AB - FKKD (Douala/Cameroon) 610 nm - DNKN* (Kano - Nigeria) 487 nm - DAAT (Tamanrasset/Algeria) 669nm - DAUO (Guemar/Algeria) 646nm - DABB (Annabah/Algeria) - LDPL (Pula/Croatia) 558nm - LZIB 249nm

*instead of Kano you could probably go via DRZR (Zinder in Niger), that would be FKKD - 578 nm - DRZR - 588nm - DAAT

Both could be a bit of a prob given the MSA/MEA north of Douala. So you might wanna reoute around the big Mountain (Mount Cameroon) there (via Nigeria)

All distances overhead-overhead. According to Jeppview all these airports are airports of entry (less DAUO) are IFR and have JetA1.

Opening times:

FZAA: H24
FKKD: NO INFO
DNKN:H24
DRZR: NO INFO
DAAT: H24
DAUO 0600-1800
DABB: H24
LDPL: 0500-2100 winter, 0400-2000 summer
LZIB: H24

hallo his dudeness;
today I m giving a look to the IFR charts from Kin to Algeria, that is the most challenging part of his trip..
I m studing the routing that you suggested and it s what I was thinking to, but..as you mentioned I found a problem complying with the minima north of Douala (FL150 and also 170), the aircraft can fly max 140...
even finding ani appropriate SID , the MEA after MF is 150..so no way I guess..
any advice?
thanks for helping

like the hairy dude (the viking) says....

And thats what I meant with:

Both could be a bit of a prob given the MSA/MEA north of Douala. So you might wanna reoute around the big Mountain (Mount Cameroon) there (via Nigeria)
Via Nigeria means: go west, follow the coast and then turn north again.

Probably you could go VFR around the mountain as well. But as I have no VFR map of the area...I just canīt say. I have been to Douala and flown near Mount Cameroon, but that was in Jet high up, so....

BTW, Matteo, you have a pm.
