Life Insurance
Having had a number of very high premium quotes from mainstream insurers for life insurance I am looking for advise.
Any details of industry specific companies that anyone has actually taken policies with?
It seems general locations of travel has so far been the issue with the high street insurers.

I can highly recommend APPN in France. I have been with them for years and they have always been great to deal with.
They have temporary loss of license, LOL and life insurance.

XL Financial Services - Great Help
For anyone else searching on here about life insurance, I'd like to share a great experience I've just had.
It took me a lot of research to get a policy as I have a rather non-standard living and working environment (as far as most insurers were concerned).
Eventually I found these guys at XL Financial in the UK and was very well looked after by Tim there.
Despite my private GA flying, as well as non airline commercial flying and being an expat, they still managed to get me very good rates from a main UK underwriter (less than half as expensive than their nearest competitor).
Well worth getting in touch with them if you are looking for insurance

Life assurance for pilots
Russ Stein at Stein Pilot Insurance is worth speaking to.
He flies various aircraft and was able to get me a brilliant quote which included life and critical illness covers - even whilst training in Florida.
