A UAE question
A question- what do you look for in a transit stop in the UAE ? Is it ;-
FBO services (incl line qual'd staff)
Speed of transit services
Fuel price
Speed from wheels on to wheels off
Price of services
Good ATC in from TOD to out to TOC
If night stopping qual of hotac for crew & pax
I've been asked this question over the last few weeks by many folks, and I don't want to give my own prefs.
We have DXB, AUH & SHJ. I do have a pref for in & out, but yours would help'
Thanks folks

Depending on aircraft size, use OMAD. Less hassle, no slots, plenty of parking, friendly FBO, easy landing permission.
PM if you need more info.

OMAD is by far the best deal out of all of there.
DXB can be a goat show depending upon where you get parked, taxi times up to 45 min in busy periods.
AUH long way out of town if night stopping.
SHJ the greasy triangle of dieing airplanes..... say no more.
OMAD by far the best, close to downtown, quick turns, little traffic, radar vector to final to avoid AUH, bloody great big Mosque on short finals!
We have had unplanned stops there and the odd splash and dash. Always good, the only issue so far is if you go tech its a pain to get someone from DXB (Jet for example) to come down and fix your problem.
If you were to need maintenance on the way in I would consider DXB as an alternative.
