Cessna 421C Re-paint and Interior

We have a 1980 Cessna 421C that we need to get painted and the interior refurbished (seats re-upholstered, re-carpet etc). Does anyone know of anywhere suitable in the UK to get this kind of work done. We are also looking to get spoilers fitted to the wings, so if any establishment can do that as well as the above work then that would be perfect.
Thanks for your help

I know Airtime in Bournemouth did a huge 421C refurb/repaint/avionics job several years ago, which was very well done.

Whether they still have the capability I have no idea. I know the owner was heavily involved in the project.

Try Eastern Air Exec at Sturgate. They have 145 engineering, paint shop and have had plenty of 421's over the years.
Very reasonable poeple to deal with too.

You could try schemedesigners.com for paint scheme designs. Altho' US based, they do lots of their work online.

I would call IAE at Cranfield - they are excellent and look after a few C421. hey have some very good contacts and could arrange it all for you.

Def worth a call.......Is the 421 on an AOC?

No, 421 is not on AOC at the moment due to the scope of work we are doing with it. I had a look at IAE's website and they don't seem to do paint work or internal refurbishment. We already have a general maintenance contract set up at Biggin Hill, so it is just the re-paint and getting rid of the 80's light blue interior that we need!!

Pete Medley for the paint job - formally ran Flying Colours paint shop at Oxford and now based with Kinch Aviation at Doncaster. Hugh McCrae of Farnborough Aircraft Interiors for the trim. Both provide excellent work.

If you end up getting it painted in the general London area, Air Interiors at Elstree will co-ordinate with the paintshop and get it done for you while its being painted, they do an excellent job.

Another one to try is Mick Allen of Mick Allen & Son Aircraft Resprays at Turweston.

Sadly Mick says that he is booked out until July next year. A shame as they look like a great outfit. Thanks for the info though.
