Universal Briefing packages

Can anybody tell me where Universal gets its information concerning ATC procedures for the nations around the world?

For example, I recently did a trip to Oman and Universal sent me a nice looking country briefing package which included sections like, "health, security, runway data, etc. A couple of the sections concerned ramp procedures, etc. This was not Notam info, rather "some useful info concerning the airport" type of data.

Do you know a good free source where I can get some of this info. on my own?

If you want something similar, Jeppview may be a start - they have country infos, entry requirements, etc.

No idea about Universal, but it may well be a list generated from a number of sources. Probably a time-consuming task.

Thank you for the responses. I especially like the Mcdonalds Happy Meal analogy!

At least with a Happy Meal you usually get what you've ordered...!
