Piper Meridian challenge

Hi Everybody,

Can a Meridian be regularly operated from grass surface? Without any potential harm to gear, pressurized fuselage vessel, engine(FOD), etc?
Your input is appreciated.
Cheers,

Meridian on grass

Piper says the 2011 is certified for grass fields, but earlier models were not recommended for grass field operations. I would recommend a call to the factory to ask about it. The quality of the field (good turf, lack of rocks to kick up into fuselage and intake, smooth surface to avoid prop strikes, etc.) will certainly make a difference, even with the 2011.
