Approved Visa Waiver Carriers (for USA)
I have a list of approved Visa Waiver Carriers from the FAA site at http://www.state.gov/documents/organization/87163.pdf
but this is from 2009 and I cannot find a more up to date list.
Anybody know where I can get hold of one or look a jet operator up to verify whether they have the VWP approval they maintain they have?

no sorry I don't I'm afraid. You would need to contact the FAA but good luck with that one, it is impossible to talk to a real person there or at the Visa office!
Otherwise call customs at one of the FBOs in a major airport, like Signature at Teterboro maybe - they might have some info for you.
