XB-GHO Lear 24 fatal crash Mexico Feb 18/11
Unoffical Report from several Mexican news links.
A Learjet 24 XB-GHO operated by Rutas Aéreas Mayas SA de CV and based at MMPC (NE of Mexico City) had departed MMPC one hour prior to the accident on a training flight.
Upon landing shortly after 11AM yesterday - the right wing tip tank struck the runway and directional control of the Learjet was lost. The aircraft excited the side of the runway and struck a stone wall head on, bounced off the wall - and ended up in flames beside the runway.
Two crew - a 61 year old instructor, and a student were killed, the aircraft burned for 40 minutes. The wall which was struck - protected a Military dog enclosure - and it was reported 6 dogs were burned in the accident.
Ironically he Learjet had recently been repainted with flames all over the fuselage.

RIP
I have under 15 hours in the LR 24/25 series, but a lot more in the 35 and 60. From what I remember, it was loud and a bottle rocket to fly, not very forgiving airplane when making mistakes.
It's the closest thing to flying a military jet as you can get in the civilian world IMHO.
May all souls who perished, (including the dogs) rest in peace.
