Garmin GNS430W airspace alarms

I have the UK CAA IMC instrument rating which means I can fly in cloud but not in Class A - so having an airspace alarm for class A only would be very useful. However, this appears to be the only class which DOESN'T have an alarms on the setup page of the new Garmin just installed. This seems very strange - or am I doing something wrong?

Sadly its one of the shortcomings in the Garmin system. It was designed for the US Market where class A doesn't start until 18,000 feet and you can't laterally fly into it (it covers the whole 48 lower states). I guess therefor they just didn't bother including an alert for it.

Who would have thought someone outside the US would ever buy a Garmin
