Hello
General question with regards to insurance. Would hiring a Captain with 3000TT and 1500 Jet (1000 on type) be much more expensive than hiring a Captain with 5000TT (1500 on type) Is insurance based from Total Time or based of time on insured aircraft (ex) pilot with 2500TT and 2000 hours jet cheaper than 5000TT 1000hrs jet??

It's horses for courses. Sure the higher the total flying hours and make & model hours will affect the premium charged but so do many other aspects also depends on which country you're operating from. We use Hayward Aviation for our UK based aircraft but they also deal with Europe, Middle East etc. PM if you want contact details.
