Angry Fake Challenger jobs posted on flightdeckrecriutment and flightleveljobs.com

Hey guys, just a warning after spending about 80 dollars signing up for these two sites I have discovered that Pilot jobs, airline jobs, aviation jobs from aviation recruitment specialist Flightdeck Recruitment and Welcome to Flight Level Jobs - your source for the best aviation jobs on the web! are posting fake ads. One of them post a phone number and the company says they didn't post these.

The job involved is for Challenger 604 pilots.

Don't waste your money on these fake sites.

The sites are surely unaware that the ads are bogus, I have been using one of them for a number of years. The scumbags that do this are everywhere, dont blame the site, you may still find a good position from them and your money will then not be wasted.

This is happening all over....when you do a little checking around many of these jobs doesn't exist at all, especially when the website is 'forwarding' your resume through their email system.

A reputable company can screen their own applicants...this type of thing happens in rough economies.

I do not know about these particular websites, but I can assure all you guys that there are various websites posting adds for positions that do not excist or are long overdue.

We received everyother week a load of resumes with a reference to nonsense recent add...

What a waste of everyones time and effort.
And some of the sites do charge you for the membership...

To be quite honest I believe a company or agency selling information must veryfy that this information is authentic and can be 100% trusted - if the status has changed the ad must be removed immeadiatly. They owe that to their customers.

I also think it is quite sad if any serious flying operation is not able to advertise any positions by normal free media, accessible to all people that might be of interest to them - in this way, they exclude many of those.

Maybe it is therfor better one could research the data and google possible companies oneself to avoid having to pay someone in the middle for useless information ?

There was also a job posted on Climbto350 that was a fake. it seems that during hard times people are doing some weird things, but if you reasearch them, you might notice that ALL these companies are not inside the USA, yes, they might seem like your next door neighbor but they are in a foreign country, so if you go to the attorney general or and US government they do not have these companies listed, I suggest Trade-a-plane, and controller, USA based. and if you need a job overseas try a Canadian company they follow much of the same rules the US does, so there will not be 'as many' fakes.

It is also quite possible that the companies posting these fake ads are just fishing for your personal info, to use illegally.

Beware of identity theft.
