24/7

Fine example. Crew did a hell of a job, shame the plane was released back to them straight away before AAIB got there. The next check was servo cables to be changed !

Cape Fear,

If you live in Rubislaw Den you should reclined in the back indulging yourself with the champagne!!

Yep, I agree with your diagnosis, crew did supremely well.

That is not the version I heard from someone who was there, heard the RT and saw the aircraft examined.

Just heard on the grapevine that they now went as far as using broker's credit cards to pay for handling unrelated to the charter flight in question.

I heard it was going to be the end of the world last weekend - doesn't mean it was true or happened.

I have nothing to do with this company - but if anyone has any actual proof then man-up and report it, otherwise wind your necks in!

It is an interesting read on here isn't it!

A selection of the usual bitchy comments. People have had their fingers burned, without doubt. For those I feel sorry. Please don't attack the crew for the management above them though.

Others of us have been involved (was flight crew) and been treated generally very well. You have to be of a strong character and temperament to deal with the commercial pressure, however the flying was very professional within all the crew. Customer service was generally high, apart from when we were late (99% of the time due to operations), and one particular crewmember who was a little set-in-his-ways.

Brokers, I do understand your concerns, and for that you have my support.
I had a policy of 100% honesty with the passengers, especially when we had problems or delays. The company shot themselves (and by the sound of of it sometimes continue to shoot themselves) in the foot when they tried to lie about it!

No-one company is ever perfect. But with due regard, you do get what you pay for. Yes it is cheaper than the others, and as a result the aircraft are slightly older (bar the nice Bravo) but the job gets done properly. If there is one thing I do know, the crews are utterly professional in their flying.

This report of a private jet being seized at Southend last week is nothing to do with them, I assume

Assume you have sold an AOC holder spare parts and you do not receive funds for month - what do you do!? They are earning money with chartering their aircraft, but they do not pay the bills for the parts. These parts enable them to keep the aircraft in the air....but this has absolutely nothing to do with the company in the subject line.

24/7 jet

24/7 are not to be trusted... stay clear of this operator. the horror stories associated this these fraudsters are endless... do not become another victim. they have a credit rating of 2 out of 100, which speaks for itself!!!

It could very well be for G-JETC!

Been sat there for a while off the back of a failed AOC operator?

Hmmmm. According to the latest CAA AOC list, 247 no longer have the Bravo on their AOC, however did I correctly notice their Bravo scheduled to depart LCY this morning??????

Bravo is a 550

Your logic would imply Bristol Flying Centre is doing dodgy charters in their 525A and 525B......

Oi!
Don't drag us into this - just to clarify, G-SPOT was simpy demonstrating that the 550 type includes Citation II and Bravo and that a 525 includes 525A (CJ2), and therefore neither 247 or us (BFC / Centreline) are not doing any dodgy charters. Sorry, but I know I only half read this stuff sometimes and wanted to make sure there was no misunderstanding.

Yeh apologies Phil

In no way did I mean to infer BFC were doing dodgy charters

And In no way meant to infer 24/7 are a patch on you lot

Glad you got where I was coming from though....if people intend to infer wrong doing on the back of bloody CFMU it might help to research it a little
