Contract Pilot Scam KTUS

There is a Learjet 55 operation in Tucson that is not paying any of the contract pilots after they fly for them. Pilots are getting ripped off for their daily rates and expenses. The aircraft in question is N273MG.

I flew these guys a couple of times. We made them pre-pay, and there were very flaky. They kept trying to put it off, say the wire is in progress, etc. The three times we flew them, the money was always transfered, but usually at the last minute when they had to before departure . . . else we weren't going anywhere.
Spradling Oil company is leasing it to a guy in Tucson, so Brading has no part in the day to day operations.
We stopped dealing with them because of the flakiness, among other things.

IF you do fly for them, I'll just say get your money first, only in the for of verified funds, and keep your guard up.

Getting paid is one thing...walking up to a new plane where the owners are flakes can be indicative of how the plane is maintained...

Not to mention a plane only crewed by contract pilots is usually pretty rough....
