Europe is full of FAA Citizens working as FAA Instructors and Pilots and many of them do not have citizenship or right to work legitimately.
It is pretty easy to pick up a CFI/CFII, A&P and, in the past, even an A&P/IA qualification, if one lives/works in the USA for a bit.
