Living four nights a week on the road "usually" means you are earning more than most folks. At least it did for me for over 15 years.

MBTs

You're late - there are already pilots wearing them. Won't say who it is though...

I live out of a suitcase, but never actually unpack whether it's in a hotel room or when I get home .... sad eh ?!

I enjoy laying in the starfish position whilst in a hotel bed ... can't do that at home.

And of course taking the pen and paper pad home with you after each stay ... as well as the shampoo, soap, sewing kit, paper, envelopes ...

What the hell is that sponge? All it does is make my shoes collect lots of dust and human hair from the hotel lobby carpet.

However, I do like my cockpit slippers from the Sheraton.

As for hotel pens. I love collecting those bad boys. Get one from reception as you check in, one from your room each day, one from every member of staff you talks to you, even just in passing, and one when you checkout. Awesome.... God, please get me out of this hotel, going mad!

Or indeed, falling asleep naked ontop of the bed and waking up to find out that the maid had been in your room

Collecting per diems at the same time as not spending my housing allowance. Why would I want to do that, when I'm only home for 6 nights a month!

Oh, and pens. I'm sure our BOW has gone up with the number of pens secreted about the plane. Where do they all go?
