Challenger 604 co-pilot
Good day all,
I am not sure how to ask such a question in a subtle manner so I will be quite straight forward. I would like to know how much a co-pilot on a Challenger 604 with just a type rating and no jet experience could expect as a salary (please do not misinterpret me, salary is of no match compared to a chance of flying this airplane with little experience and therefore is not the point of focus, but I am expected to have a general idea about it during an interview, therefore I need to ask this question).

Subtlility is definitely unappropriate here....
If the people you 're about to work for have a decent point of view about your duties I think you could expect more or less : 4000~5000 US$ per month and sincerely hoping you'll get more ! ( I was getting that much on a Falcon 50 six years ago in europe...)
Now the global situation being what it is, they might pay you far less than that depending where you work also ( they could ask you to clean the toilets for the same salary too nowadays).
Unfortunatly for us with all those guys selling themselves for peanuts now..means less and less money in our wallets.!
Try to get as much infos from the pilots already on this operation, phonecall to the chief pilot for example..

Thank you so much for your answer. I researched a little bit on the net and it seems that 5,000 USD is about right.
The company now looking for Challenger 604 pilots is new and in a country that is just starting with general aviation. The only advantage that I have is that I speak English and they need to use that airplane for international flights. My disadvantage is that I have no jet experience and no type rating which means they would have to provide it. They already have an idea about the salary they will offer which is lower than in the US or Europe. Their intention is to find a pilot that would ask more than a local pilot but can be competitive with regard to a co-pilot from the US or Europe. Again that is their idea for an entry position for a pilot with my profile, the salary increasing every year.
The other question I have is with experience on an aircraft like a Challenger 604 (SIC and PIC), how difficult is it to find work in Europe.

Europe market sucks.Specially for th 604.I am 604 rated with a 300 hours on it and I am looking for work.Nothing on the horizon right now
