How big is your budget? The Best Westerns (the ones on Rue de Antibe) have good wifi but no gym. Univers is the better of the two with regards to breakfast. Mondial has slightly better rooms. Eden and Carlton has gyms but a higher price. Wx permitting, there are good jogging possibilities around the town.

Try the old Sofitel on the corner in the harbour. Its now called 1860 or something like that. It was nice before the revamp, so im sure its got all the mod cons now! The Irish pub is within staggering distance as well. Say Hi to Jason the manager if you get in there. Enjoy.

Sofitel Mediteranee is the one on the corner of the Harbour, if you book it thru Cannes Handling its not a bad deal!

Yes this is the new name of the Sofitel by the harbour - something to do with Victor Hugo... Anyway, very nice refurb, and the pool deck is a glorious place to enjoy a sundowner. However, I actually prefer the Sofitel Royal Casino, near the airport - has it's own little beach, and is in just a great situation. (Also there's the casino if you're into that!)

this is the white palm hotel. nice hotel, free wifi. i used to stay there a few weeks ago. nice roof terrace for the sundowner- indeed. as long as you like to pay EUR 10 for a small 0,3 bottle of beer.

i gave them my private credit card for the extras- told them to book the room on he other several times- and they charged my private card for the rooms. so pay attention.

nice breakfast by the way
