FAA Citation 525/ XLS Check ride question

Hi
Just about to sit the FAA ATPs, also got the licence validation thing being sorted out as we speak.
However I need to do a flight test in a C525 or an XLS...
Flight safety want $10,900 for me to do a recurrent and check ride.
I am about to visit Texas for a little while, has anyone go any suggestions who I can use to do the flight test to open my FAA ATP without paying all that money, which to me seems a bit excessive.
I only paid £3000 for an ATPL check ride in an XLS...
Your help please Ladies and Gents.

SP, CAE SimuFlite (Dallas) are usually a bit cheaper than FSI. They have the XL in Dallas, but moved the C525 up to Morristown, NJ. Except for that I have no good suggestions. Had it been in the CE500 series it would have been easier, but there's not a whole lot of places offering training on the XL/CE525 apart from FSI/CAE (at least not in TX) that I am aware of.

Stating the obvious:

if ANY other place is $5k cheaper than the guys in Texas, than I suggest you could find 5 airline connections per day to any part of the country for under $500.

Not Texas, but Flight Crew Systems in California do ATPs on the 525.

Citation Pilot Training - Flight School for Citation Pilots

In the aircraft not sim, but reasonably priced I hear.
