European Business Jets, starting up again?

Dear All,

I have heard rumours of a manager from EBJ starting a new VLJ operation. Could anybody shed some light on this? True or false?

Thanks

Happy flying!

I hope for the sake of the Industry here in the UK that this is incorrect.

The thought of GD, PQ or NM starting again sends shivers down ones spine !!

I've heard the rumour too, AND the fact that an ex EBJ Director is involved - heard from two different sources. That said, all that makes is a rumour with two sources, not a fact.

IF true, then my £ is odds-on that GD is the driving force, 10/1 on NM, with PQ coming in at the same odds as the donkeys I always seem to get in the Grand National sweepstake.

Watching with interest............

time to cough up?

and in addition to the staff and suppliers who (presumably) lost out financially i assume there are quite a few angry clients (fractional owenrs, aircraft owners, and block time / card pruchasers) who lost significant sums of their hard earned cash which they had prepaid to EBJ for flights that never happened?

cant imagine EBJ 'Mark 2' is going to be more financially secure than the first iteration, especailly as the market is now f**ked.. unless hes selling ice creams on the beach this time...

Now come on be honest with yourself ..... Can you honestly see GD, NM or PQ actually doing a good job selling ice creams on a beach !

Somehow they would soon screw that up as well !!!

Hi Zia,

How did the EBJ guy's get on securing new positions after the operation finished.

I spoke to a crew at Annecy just after new year lucky enough to be taken across with the jet to H8, but wondered how it has been for the others?

Hi Zia319,

Now where did you get the idea of an ex EBJ pilot working in the Middle East I wonder

Still a few guys (especially FOs but also some captains) with no work flying, or just a couple of days freelance each month. So if anyone knows anything going, keep them in mind.

Chinchilla.
