Embraer Phenom 100
Morning all,
I am interested in the Phenom 100/300 once in the UK, but am struggling to find out who has orders (private and corporate).
Does anyone have any ideas?
Thanks

Check out JetBird. Currently basing pilots in Cologne but I assume pilots will be able to live and fly out of the UK as well in time. Looks like a fun bird to fly...

First Phenoms into UK
In the news last week - it looks like Hangar 8 Limited at Oxford get the first on the UK register and on an AOC, then FlairJet, another Oxford operator get two more in the autumn. Heard that the owners of the airport also have some on order - not sure if the same ones or not?

Another start up with aircraft ordered by real estate developers when the market was overheated
Wish them well as this is the first start up that did not claim that they would have a 100 aircraft in a year or two

UK Phenoms on market
They're not seriously up for sale at those sort of prices - most of those owners are just trying their luck in the hope that some idiot might come along and pay something close.
Knock about $500K off those prices and they might actually shift.
The reality is that in some cases, these have been 'for sale' the day before they were accepted and collected from the factory and will always remain so.
Unfortuntely that loverly recession somewhat altered the dynamics of the market and so you might as well stick with them, put them to work if you can (can't of course on the 'M' register) and wait until things improve....three years perhaps?

I've been flying S/N 117 in Europe this year. I think it is a great bird. Fast, easy to fly, and (mostly!) reliable as all get out. Transition from the turbine singles is pretty seamless.
Shooting un-published NDB CDA approaches using the VNAV feature (coupled) is just plain awesome!
The burgess hill Simuflite doesn't do FAA type ratings so you have to go to Dallas TX or bring the examiner over from the states unless you are going EASA reg.
The plane had lots of positions sold during the crazy 07/08 times and the back-log is still being worked off, as well as JetBird going belly up, but the operators are happy and the plane is quite a nice single pilot bird for the performance.
Honest 370KTAS at FL350, and 350KTAS at FL400. If you want to go fast, 390KTAS at FL330 is also no problem. check out the Phenom / Welcome site for the owners association.
Tony Ringland in Scotland seems to be the main guy working the delivery circuit in Europe. I tried to break in but so far just flying one of them.
