FDM - Bizjets
Have been put in charge of setting up a Flight Data Monitoring system (hardware & software) at a business jet company in Europe.
With only 1 aircraft in the required category, flying approx. 400 hours per year, I need something as cost-effective as possible.
Can some operators please inform me of what FDM service-providers are being used by small operators that are looking for a cheap solution.
Thanks

FDM service provider.
Hi,
I had same problem too. After negotiating with many service provider. We started to work with these guys. I liked their price scheme and flexibility.
Flight Data Monitoring (FDM / FOQA) service provider.
Be careful about setup fees and do not pay without test period. Some times test period takes lng time due to your equipments.

Hello what type of aircraft are you operating in metric tonnes. How many aircraft do you have and where are you operating.
This is a mine field of information etc out there. You can tailor your system from the simplest to the extravagent with GPRS downloads on weight on wheels to a server.
I have been involved in this etc, and can point you in the right direction from QAR (quick access readers) to FDR download tools.
Hope this helps its just another thing we have to jump through in corporate JAR OPS
