Wonder who would have paid for that...
The celebs themselves? The BBC? Fundraisers?

I would hope the owner/operator footed the bill.....perhaps I'm being naive

I wouldn't for a minute knock what these folk have just done, something I wont be attempting anytime soon but, as I 'donate to the cause' I'd like to be sure my money is well spent. Of course there are overheads but, whats wrong with y class into LHR?

for those who are looking for some reason to have an argument over this, the aircraft was a twinjet 604 and was not paid for by comic relief. end of story.

Looking at the news last night they were all stood in front of G-HARK / Twinjet. A quick look on CFMU reveals that it was infact Luton the flight operated into.

The Other Side.

Calm down calm down, it was just a question!

Which as of a minute ago I can now answer - Gary Barlow paid £50k for the jet that brought them home, it was a surprise for his team mates.

And if it did go into Luton, don't know why Radio 1 were reporting on the arrival from...Northolt!

So did they fly into the UK from Africa or Netherlands on the jet then?

G-HARK flew AMS - NHT

after picking the pax up from their KQ flight

(then the aircraft flew back to its home base LTN)

OK.

Just hope Gary Barlow wasn't charged £50k for a AMS-NHT flight, and the figure is just a bit of media speculation.
