Red face Netjets

Has anyone any info on whether Netjets are still taking up their options on the 32 Hawker 4000 they ordered in 2005 for $700mill.? In light of the current recession they might well be postponing the deal. I wonder if there is also any site which covers the effect of the economic downturn on fractional ownership and business charter generally?

They are still taking the aircraft, but single digit numbers a year... so about 1 a month... is the current thinking...

Expecting a couple in 2009. As for the rest, call HBC.

'A couple for 2009' is a lot less than, ' but single digit numbers a year... so about 1 a month... '

9 vs 2, I wonder who is more in the know?

I think 1 a month reflects the total deliveries, as opposed to a specific type.

But, any thing can change.

I think more importantly, that flexible working practises will be offered in the New Year. Whatever that means, perhaps part-time or even sabbaticals.

I don't see more then 4 or 5 total (4000's), rest will be a mix of mid and large cabin. Wonder howmany 7X's will be here at the end of next year. I'm still number 50 in the queu for that one

It was suggested to have owners taking the train back to London from Samedan after a weekend of partey. Helps with weight and balance issues.
