through the application of good taste in leisure activities

on that note, I might recommend artichokes. they suggest about a squaremeter per plant.

when I get back from this rotation, its time to get the seeds in the ground - indoor, as I live in the cold north.

Thought I'd carry this thread on as the market is still crap!!

Any more positive remarks would be grately appreciated.

Managed to find myself a marketing job working from home earning some money this way and doing a couple of market research groups which can be a great source of tax free income but alas this is all that I have been able to come up with....

Anything seasonal? Winter's coming in the northern hemisphere, does that open up any other opportunities? Snow shovelling, log chopping..........

I've put my barbecue idea on hold for a bit

Working in bars in the alps during the winter season perhaps? Might cause some damage to your liver though!

i took up rowing when it got a bit quite this time last year and now i'm completely hooked and training 12 times a week for Henley next year. Don't know how i'd cope if they asked me to fly more than 25 hours a month!

Doesnt earn me any extra money but i've never been fitter and have met some interesting non-flying friends!
