Subsidiary of SWISS International Air Lines Ltd.
Hi 470
As far as I know...
Swiss Private Aviation is a full subsidiary of Swiss International Air Lines Ltd. in Zürich. Operates at the moment CJ3-Jets with former ex-Swissair and ex-Swiss European Air Lines Captains. Origin of hired FOs unknown. Operational experience comes from former Servair (Zurich based business-jet operator), which was bought by Swiss International Air Lines several months ago.
Swiss Private Aviation will integrate the Lufthansa Private Jet operations (formerly operated by NetJets) and will be responsible for the "private jet" ops within the Lufthansa group.
Supervision of the entire outfit by Swiss European Air Lines Ltd. and crew selection by Swiss Aviation Training in Zurich. Only individual contracts. Minimum age Captain 50, minimum age FO 38, due to CLA issues with Swiss International and Swiss European. Actually no CLA at all in Swiss Private Aviation according to my knowledge. Salary FO around 90000 Swiss Francs , Captain around 145000 Swiss Francs, both gross...
CJ3s and some Excels in the pipeline obviously.
Cheers

It is confirmed...
...the company will be closed down, 61 people lose their jobs. Good luck to all of them!
It is strange, I thought, SPA would be one of the "safest" companies as far as job security is concerned in the bizjet sector with Swiss/Lufthansa as financial backup.

...who might be the future partner of Lufthansa?
to open the bucket of speculation regarding " The Swiss company could not meet the demands of Lufthansa corporate jet in Europe, prompting Lufthansa to search for new partners." (Swiss Lufthansa may end private jet operations | Private Jet Daily)
My thought - A European Operator with more than 100 jets could be open for a partnership again -hmmm who might that be.
Analysing the facts: LPJ much fragmented demand for small fleet. On the other side a operator with a large fleet of more than 100 jets in EU and some more in the US......

"because the market is not favorable"
I would not say "because the market is not favorable" is the reason, but out of market qutations/prices is more realistic argument.....

Having an AOC in a Swiss did not help either.... specially with the cabotage rules and the majority of the flights operating from/to Germany
Typical large company thinking projected on our industry
