GAMA Air Ambulance

I have heard disturbing news coming out of this out fit again, Is it true that there Cheif Enginneer has been sacked over the request for hangar heating at ABZ? [ BIZARE ] and has been replaced with an ex Loganair engineer from GLA, after all the issues with ex Loganair people from a year ago is the bad circle of trouble starting again ? I also beleive FLTs and working pratices are again an issue.

Their engineer has resigned, there were some issues although not sure whether heating in the hangar was one, otherwise I am not aware of any issues with the aircrew.

Still Confused.

Thks for clearing up Engineer status , but what about this Loganair chap ? Also up here on the islands we are hearing about troubles with crew finishing times going from lates to night shifts, is that boss of yours taking liberties again?

air/49

I am curious, are you an ex employee or failed applicant? What is your beef?

I see that everyone of your previous posts has been about Gama so you clearly have an interest.

You obviously do not work for Gama right now or you would not be asking such stupid and puerile questions.

Pilotbear,

I assume you mean me. I have no wish to 'police' what air/49 is saying, I am just wondering what it is that he/she hopes to achieve.

I accept that this is a 'rumour network' but do not accept that it is a gossip network for mis-informed people to start banging on about things that do not concern them.

Rumour/Gossip = same thing. People do have the right to voice or express or question anything that they wish. If you do not agree with it then argue your point with facts or informed opinion preferably without insulting comments.

Isnt it time to put all this to bed?

I am sure the 'islands' wouldnt know an 'ambulance extension' in regard to CAP371 if it hit them in the face.

Neither would some disgruntled pilots it would seem............

Well said EI-CGO, surely it is time to stop knocking Gama over their award for the Ambulance contract. No matter who has the contract it is obviously a very demanding area where a fine balance between patients needs and a commercial enviroment exists and such an enviroment will not be to everybody's taste. (No, I do not work for Gama)

Fixed wing section.

Greetings all,

A few questions to pick your brains about this outfit if you might be so kind.

Employment ;
High staff turn over? What amount of pilots do they employ?

Aircraft ;
I know they operate King airs but how many? Any other fixed wing aircraft operated?

Money (not very important but nice to know) ;
How much are you talking for F/O non rated?

Kind Regards,
CP.
