Y'see, this is how rumours get distorted. I never said anything about being in a Ferrari.

Back on topic before we get Ducked, anyone have any idea when this new enterprise is getting airborne?

Are you saying you were not in his blue Ferrari, perhaps it was his Porsche?

Get a room you two.

In the meantime, does anyone have any facts about this?

Whiteheat

So, very few facts and boy, lots of comments on JB. Envy is such a revealing emotion of those who harbour it.

Well here goes.
I hear NJE suddenly is no longer the ten thousand pound gorilla! I also hear that WhiteJets actually did not go after many, if ever seriously any, NJE guys. Apparently being there is not necessarily the best opener to other options as people had thought. Still thats a natural error when you are a monoply....they need to pay now as there other places to go.

2009 start operations and definitely Oeiras. Totally separate from DM though. Somebidy at NJE told me that some of the guys were trying to get an offer into WhoteJets, and if that did not work, then let NJE know that they maust have better conditions to stay on. What a mess...... I guess WhiteJets just wants the best wherever they are.

Lots of finance backing, (yes there are many millionaires/billionaires out there!) and the pick of the best business aviation people from Europe and the States/Canada.

Good fun!

This is great to watch from a distance. Envy? Hardly.

No envy here either. Best people in Aviation? Who decides who the best people are? Would that be people with over inflated opinions of themselves.

Just one question, how much did NJE loose in the first ten years? 200+ million, you need to have a VERY patient Billionaire.

White Portugal

Unless you haven't noticed, White is owned by Omni Aviacao SGPS, who it just happens also operate an ACJ. This ACJ is based at their company Aero Services in LBG. Omni bought Aero Services back in the early 90s, therefore, they have a BIZJet charter outfit already! Check the Aero Services website.

can we actually ascertain whether 'white jets' is from the same stable as Fly White? Fly White is part of Omni/Aero Services, but is JB's outfit also?

DM operation

G'd afternoon, following these stories with interest.
Just flew outof LPCS yesterday.
As said previously in this threat White and DM are 2 different things.

DM is expecting his first Hawker900XP the end of this August I was told. Let's see...
Intention of DM's company, also a fractional ownership, is not to compete with NJE initially. How long is initially by the way?

That's all I know, enjoy the sun!
( The ramp in Cascais will be to crowded if this is all true! Time to build some more taxiways at least and recognize the almost 6000ft rwy they have there, instead of the 3900+ published in Jepp.)

DM

"Somebody" who used to work for Netjets, but not anymore.
Just don't want to mention any names here.

(I can still find a DM on the BB though, same person?)

This was N. from the Dark Side(DS), ciao.

Thanks N.

Given the two personalities involved this will be interesting. They can both be pretty single minded and each has excellent inside information on the Netjets model so will no doubt be aiming at what they perceive to be a gap in the market rather than going head to head. In fact I wouldn't be at all surprised to see them become vendors* for NJE at some time in the future. All business is good business, no?

*Netjets-speak for companies to whom flights are subbed out.

Can anyone find out?

I heard that NJE put out an injunction to stop any of their staff from being pilfered...how can they do that? Maybe I should see what they are offering

If that were true it wouldn't surprise me (that they tried) though it would seem unfair if they got away with it.

By the way Cabral, I reckon you're JB

Hey guys

Nah. I thought that was Smeagol, you should know given your nick

Joking aside, it all seems a bit silly if its true. Who cares, the more the merrier and the better the offers, the better for everybody.

I am all for more players, as long as they have proper backing. Does anyone know if they have started recruiting?
