DA42 Headset socket

Hello!

Am flying DA42's of which half our fleet have standard David Clark 2 pin sockets and the other 5 pin European sockets. I'd like to use my DC headset in all the aircraft and have been looking for adapters. There seem to be plenty available however i want to make sure i have the right one.

The AIRBUS ADAPTER (PA-97) looks like a promising candidate, does anyone know if this will work in the Twinstar?

Regards

Simon

The DA42 standard sockets are for Bose headsets (I think that is what you mean by "European" sockets?). NATO sockets are also available as an option.

Perhaps you could post a link to the adaptor in question?

I'm pretty sure you have "LEMO" XLR-5 plug on it. It's the same like on ATR's and Airbus aircraft.

To make sure you can call Peter on 01959-576-129 he's got some good knowledge about all aircraft connectors and I know they have them in stock.

Cheers.
